Attorney Maher attended the University of Minnesota Law School, and graduated with honors (Cum Laude) in 1999. During law school she was recognized for her academic achievements on the school's Dean's List and was awarded the Kenneth and Lillian Smith Scholarship. She also had a judicial externship with The Hon. Gary Larson (4th Judicial District).
Prior to joining Walling, Berg & Debele, P.A., in 2000, Attorney Maher worked as a law clerk for the Hon. Gary Crippen, Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota and before the Lower Sioux Tribal Court, Attorney Maher assists clients with family law issues in the areas of adoption, appeals, custody, juvenile law, marital dissolution (divorce) and paternity. For her work with families, Attorney Maher has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics, and was named a Fellow with the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys.
