As Director of the Managing Corporate Counsel in the Asia Pacific for Starbucks, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Michigami has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Mr. Michigami is responsible for managing the legal and quality assurance affairs for Starbucks Coffee Company's 10 markets in the Asia Pacific region (excluding mainland China), as well as Japan. He is a member of Starbucks' Asia Pacific regional leadership team and provides legal support for their regional support center in Hong Kong.
Wayne provides oversight for legal matters in Australia, Hong Kong/Macau, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. He also serves on the Starbucks Law & Corporate Affairs Leadership Team. During his collegiate career, Mr. Michigami earned a Juris Doctor degree.
