Helen Barrette celebrates more than 35 years as a medical professional
PHOENIX and TUCSON, AZ, November 02, 2011 /Law and Legal PR News/ -- Helen Smith Barrette, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant for Barrette and Associates, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care consulting.
Ms. Barrette is a certified legal nurse consultant with more than 35 years of experience in the field of health care. In order to utilize the knowledge she has gained in the many areas of nursing, she recently established Barrette and Associates, LLC. Specializing in clinical practice, Ms. Barrette provides trusted legal consulting services for health-related cases. She works with attorneys, law firms, and independent contractors to review medical records and determine if there are any deviations with the standards of care. She also locates expert witnesses for cases and handles marketing for her business. Ms. Barrette attributes her success to loving what she does and enjoying the challenge of being able to do different things in her industry.
Ms. Barrette's success is also grounded in her strong educational foundation. A graduate of the University of Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing, earned in 1975. She went on to attain a Master of Science in maternity newborn nursing from the University of Arizona. Ms. Barrette is also a certified nurse midwife and certified obstetrics and gynecology nurse practitioner. She retains affiliation with the National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. Having grown up outside of the U.S., Ms. Barrette speaks English, German, Spanish and French. She hopes to work in a position outside of the U.S. in the near future.
