Attorney Evan Guthrie spoke to the class about the legal profession and topics the class was studying for the course. Mr. Guthrie touched on the subjects of how to become a lawyer including the path from high school to law school and things that the students could do to prepare themselves while still in high school. Attorney Evan Guthrie also spoke about the different kinds of law and different types of lawyers in the legal system. He spoke about courtroom procedure and did a demonstration how to stand and speak to a jury in the courtroom. Attorney Evan Guthrie answered many questions that ranged from his daily routine to how he operated his law firm to even difficult moral questions that sometimes arise in the law. The students were able to here from a real attorney and have their questions answered about what is really like to be an attorney.
