During his educational career, Mr. Schmidt attended Georgetown School of Foreign Service in 1958. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington College of Law at American University in 1965. Mr. Schmidt is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
